Even though it has been 19 years since the last official release, WinDirStat has continued to be a staple of many system administrators’ and casual users’ computer toolbelts.ย Some Windows alternatives have appeared over the years, but few have been completely free and even fewer have been opensource.ย About a year ago, I reached out to Oliver offering to get more involved with WinDirStat development.ย With his help, I am pleased to announce the release of WinDirStat 2.0.1.

Thank you to the WinDirStat community for their continued enthusiasm about the product that helped fuel my motivation to help evolve this application so it can continue to thrive.
Welcome back. ๐
I was very surprised when scoop flushed a new version 2.0.1 onto my system after almost 20 years. Many thanks for your commitment! ๐
What’s new and fixed in v2.0.3? ๐
This is WONDERFUL news.
Thank you so much for this most lovely tool.
I have been a long-time user of WinDirStat. Thank you for your work. Recently I’ve upgraded to version 2.0.1, but found that this version no longer supports specifying drive letters or directories via the command-line parameter. Do you have any plan to add this feature back? Thank you.
